First Gear AI · About

Two operators from Austin

First Gear AI was founded in Austin, Texas by two operators who built the thing we wished existed. No venture round, no stock photos. Real businesses, real systems, and a product we run our own lives on every single day.

Chief Possibility Officer

Trevor Williams

Austin, Texas

Trevor spent his career running real companies: staffing and payroll, construction, medical services, commercial real estate, and investments for his own account. Every SaaS tool held a piece of the business, and none of them were connected. Like most owners, the institutional knowledge lived in his head.

AI changed that. It opened a path to connected systems and processes. He built them into his businesses first, then into his life. He runs his companies on it. He runs his life on it. The mission of First Gear AI became clear: hand the system he built for his own companies, and the operating knowledge behind it, to every operator, in a way anyone can pick up and run.

Go-to-market

André Kachkine

Austin, Texas

André is an Austin native who started his own company out of his garage while he was still in high school. Three thousand customers served, one hundred percent organic growth. No ads, no investors, no playbook handed to him. It paid his way through college, and he graduated early. He learned young what running a business asks of one person's memory. He currently runs multiple companies, including buying and managing real estate for his own account.

He leads go-to-market for First Gear AI. André believes customers are earned in the trenches, solving real problems for real people. He isn't afraid of a cold door or a hard sale. He knocks, he listens, and he shows up with the answer.

We are our own first customer

We built First Gear for our own companies, and we run them on it every day. Every rough edge hits us first, and we fix it as we go. You get the same system we run ourselves.
